Who?
Why? I tried this in the 90s while I was attending the University of Texas at Austin. I shot the parties and formals around campus. Armed with some hand-me-down equipment and my grandfather's instructions I shot. His instructions were something like this: "If it's sunny, shoot with these settings. If the distance is this far, use these settings. If you have a group of people, point the feet towards the center. Put the darker people in the front and near the middle (It's a flash thang...)" Anyway, it worked. But I was too young to focus and left the hobby behind only to pick it back up 10 years later. And I'm loving it! I'm an Austin wedding photographer! However, what really brings me joy is knowing that I'm using the talent that I've been blessed with to enrich other peoples' lives. If looking at one of my photos makes you smile, hearing one of my stories brings you encouragement, or having me pray with you and your wedding party before 'your special day' touches your heart, then I've truly been blessed.
